Every piece in this collection is inspired by my mountaineering hikes through Connemara's spare, powerful landscape. Walking these mountains, you encounter a land shaped by hardship and beauty in equal measure—a place hit devastatingly hard during the Great Famine, where people survived not on crops, but on what the sea and sheep could provide. Life here has always been tough, yet from this struggle emerges a landscape of breathtaking, stark beauty.
