Inspiration
A customer asked me to do a special piece - which is a pen rest that can hold two fountain pens she requires for her calligraphy. She couldn't find this anywhere and asked me to design and make one. I designed the plate for her use and came up with an oval shape with two grooves so the pens won't roll into each other. It was a wonderful project that also gave me the opportunity to learn something new.
