Handmade Irish Ceramic Small Milk Jug - Burren Design - Stonewall
A Note on Handmade Variations
The pieces shown are the milk jugs currently available in the studio. Because each one is hand-thrown and hand-carved individually, no two are exactly alike — yours will carry its own subtle variations in glaze tone, carved detail, and form that make it entirely one of a kind.
Pick your favourite. The photos show the individual pieces currently in stock have a look and let me know at checkout which one you'd like.

A milk jug without a handle asks you to hold it properly with one cupped around the belly, feeling the warmth of whatever's inside. This one was made for exactly that.
Hand-thrown and hand-carved in my studio in Oranmore, County Galway, the form is clean and handleless, with the rim cut at a gentle angle rising to its highest point at the hand-pinched spout. It's a shape that pours well and sits beautifully, equally at home on a breakfast table or a kitchen shelf.
The ancient limestone stonewall scene of the Burren is carved individually into each piece, so no two jugs are ever identical.
