Made for a Moment. Made to Last.
Some pieces begin with a brief a person, a story, an occasion that calls for something that can't be found on a shelf.
In early 2025, Imelda May's team commissioned bespoke Celtic Knot trinket dishes for her Raised on Songs and Stories tour. Each piece was hand-thrown and hand-carved here in Oranmore and the story was covered by the Connacht Tribune.
"I wanted to commission a unique piece of art for this tour, something that would encapsulate the essence of Raised On Songs And Stories as it was finally time to bring it home to Ireland. I'm thrilled to have discovered Anne. Her love for Ireland, and passion for her art are beyond evident in these Celtic Knot trinket/soap dishes. I love them." — Imelda May, singer-songwriter
That's what a commission can be.
Every commission starts with a conversation. I want to understand what the piece needs to hold the person it's for, the story behind it, what it should feel like in the hand. From there I work in stoneware, using the same hand-throwing and carving techniques as my main collections, with the design and finish guided entirely by you.
If you have something in mind, I'd love to hear about it.
