My Artistic Vision

My work is evolving toward more decorative expressions, though functionality remains an element in many pieces. Each creation tells a story, reflecting my perspective as someone who came to the Green Isle from elsewhere and has called it home for over two decades.

Living in Ireland has profoundly shaped me and my artistic vision. My inspiration comes not only from the country's breathtaking landscapes but also from my deepening understanding of the Irish way of life—the inherent kindness, the joy in conviviality, the relaxed "it's grand, will do" philosophy, and the peace found in sharing a cup of tea with good company.

I also draw from Ireland's complex history, particularly the profound suffering during the Famine. The abandoned cottages that remain as skeletal reminders across the countryside speak to both Irish resilience and rich cultural heritage.

It is an honor to be part of this tradition and to share Ireland's beauty with the world through my ceramic art.
