The ring form is like a frame of a painting to show a single wave that can be seen from both sides.
It stands upright and would look perfect on a shelf, window sill or even on a table.
It has a small spout on the top and can be filled with water. A seagull feather would harmonize beautifully with the vase.
It is one of my most challenging pieces to make but also one I am really proud of.

I never copy the exact wave, they are individually created by freely drawn into the clay and cut out.
The wave can be admired from both sides. Perfect to decorate a window sill or on any of your shelf.
It was thrown in a ring shape on a potters wheel. The wave was added into the doughnut form and then carved and painted by hand with an under-glaze and glossy transparent glaze, and a Matt cream glaze was applied for the outside ring. Finally fired at a temperature of 1200 degrees Celsius.
All ceramic pieces are hand made by myself. It is a decorative art piece.
